GPTE Creating a New Extra Service

To add information about a new extra service,

  1. On the Products menu, click Extras.

  2. On the Extra Services page, click Create. Create New Extra Service page appears:

  1. On Create New Extra Service page specify the following information:

  • Name: enter the extra service name.

  • Product name for Supplier: add a product name as a supplier calls it. The product name for the supplier is used in notifications to the supplier.

  • Supplier: select the extra service service supplier.

  • Key facts: select the extra service type - either service or tourist.

  • Default currency: from the drop-down, select the currency to use for settlements with service supplier. The selected currency will also be used for configuring tariffs, price-lists, etc.

  • Countries/Cities where the service is provided: specify the location(s) where extra services are offered.

After you have finished to fill in all the details click Save. Your extra service will be saved into the system. Open the created extra service product and navigate to Description tab and enter corresponding information:

  • Short description: briefly describe the service. This description will be displayed on the search results page.

  • Description: enter the service description. This description will be displayed in the window with the detailed description of the service.

  • Important information: enter additional important details.

  1. Click Save.

To upload a picture for the extra service from your PC, navigate to Photo tab:

  • click at Select photos field, browse to the required picture, click Open and upload a picture;

  • click Save.
