GPTE Add-ons

Add-ons module allows suppliers, who provide various types of products, to offer them together. This functionality helps to link different separate products (added manually to the system as direct contracts) to each other (e.g. transfer to the hotel).
This module supports:
setting add-on products for the main self-operated products;
displaying add-on services on the booking page of a main product;
showing the add-on services as separate ones in the reservation, when the main product with add-ons was booked.
First, make sure the Add-ons module is turned on on your installation.
Add-ons configuration is currently available via administration panel.
Configuring Add-on service
To create a new Add-on,
navigate to Products → select the required travel product (ex. Hotel);
select the required hotel from the list;
click on the Add-ons tab → the list of add-on services appears:
Click Create.
The New add-on window appears. Fill in the required fields to specify the conditions of the add-on services:
a. Select from the dropdown the type of the additional service (Transfer, Activity or Event).
b. Specify the city of the service provided. Start typing in the field and select the suggested location in the dropdown.
c. Select the name of the Service. Start typing in the field and select the suggestions from the dropdown list.
Please note that only previously created self-operated products can be added as add-ons to the service. To know how to create a self-operated transfer, activity, or event please refer to Creating Self-operated products section.
d. In the ‘Offer’ field specify the price at which the add-on will be proposed to the tourist:
i. Either free
ii. Or gross from the add-ons service price list.
e. In the ‘Offer on’ field select the day of the trip the add-on may be proposed to the tourist:
i. On the first day
ii. Last day
iii. Or any day of the trip.
Click Save.
Add-ons displaying
To view the configured add-ons, initiate the search in the required location and proceed to the booking of the needed hotel (indicated in the configuration).
On the booking page fill in the tourist booking details and scroll down to the bottom of the page. All the Add-on services are presented here:
Each Add-on card displays the following information. It may vary according to the type of travel product and depending on the configured settings:
The name of the service
Photo
The type (private or shared)
Supplier (displayed for the TO users only)
The description of the service
The duration of the service
Service Languages
Depending on settings, some of the Add ons are free, and some display the gross price
Click on the ‘Show’ button on the right side of the card to expand the offers block. The offers may vary according to the:
a. Dates of the service. To limit the offers by date you may use the calendar field and leave only the required dates:
b. Vehicle type.
c. Schedule and others
Clicking on the info icon you may receive additional information on the offer proposed:

Booking Add-on services
To book an Add-on,
select the required offers by clicking on the ‘price’ (or ‘free’ in case it’s free service) buttons;
in the Summary block the Add-on services appear and the total price is changed. Check the list of add-on services added and remove by clicking on ‘cross icon’ if needed:
along with the summary, the booking fields have also been extended according to the travel product types added. Specify the required information:
Pick up time and pick up sign for transfers;
In case the transfers are from airport - specify the flight details;
scroll down and click Next step to select the payment methods block and select the required payment radio button;
agree with Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions by ticking the corresponding check boxes;
click Book button to proceed to checkout. The popup window with the reservation status appears.
Add-on services in Reservations
All the services, including Add-ons, are listed in the reservation:
The add-ons are marked with a ‘puzzle’ icon. By hovering over the icon, the main service the add-on was connected to - is displayed.
Now you may work with the reservation the same way as with other complex reservations.
