Hotel Modification allows to change stay dates, names of passengers, and comments in booking.
Please note that some suppliers may not support some kinds of modification, or not support modification at all. In case the requested modification is not possible at supplier, GP Travel HUB returns error message.
Hotel Modification passes in two steps:
Initiate - step needs to get final booking price after modification (including price for new stay and modification fee).
Modify or Ignore - second step needs to confirm modification ("Modify") or decline it ("Ignore").
Note 1. Not all suppliers support modifying names of passengers. If this is the case - you'll get error in response.
Note 2. Currency is not passed in this request, as modification is always performed in the same currency, in which original booking has been made.
Note 3. For name modification, all tourists should be listed in ResGuests element (even if you need to change name of only one passenger).
Note 4. In case of changes in birth date for non-adult travelers please be careful: the price of booking may change (cause the child can get into another age group), and this change will be seen only after confirmation.
