To add an accommodation service,

  1. Click Hotels. The New hotel component page appears:

2. On the New hotel component page, specify the entry code. It is filled in automatically by the system, but you can change the entry name manually for your convenience. The entry code is used for managing packaged components and is not displayed to tourists.
3. Locate mouse pointer into the Name box and type the name of the service (hotel, flight, excursion, etc.) This name is displayed on search results page.
4. Locate mouse pointer into the Description box and enter the service description. It will be displayed on search results page and in the separate window with package details.
5. Specify the way to include the component in the package. There are the following alternatives available:

  • Mandatory service: the service cannot be removed from the package.

  • Optional service: the service is additionally offered during the booking

  • Extra service: the service is included in the package but can be removed during booking.

6. Configure the search criteria for the service:

  • Supplier: define in response to which supplier specified in the search form the component will be displayed. In case you want to offer the component irrespective of the supplier specified in the search form, select All from the drop-down. In case you want to restrict the range of suppliers, in the Filter column, click (blue star) (More). The Supplier window appears:

  • In the Supplier window, select the suppliers which must be specified in the search form in order to show the component on the search results page and click Close.

  • City: specify which city a tourist should enter in the search form for the component to be displayed on search results. From the drop-down, select the suitable option. In case there are other components within the package, you can connect the city to one of the departure/arrival cities of other components. Alternatively, you can select search form destination location option. Then a package will correspond to the city a tourist enters in the search form. To appoint a definite list of cities, click (blue star) (More). The City window appears:

7. In the City window, type the city name in the City box. Alternatively, click Select from the list and select the required city from the drop-down. Click Add and then Close.

  • Start/End service date: specify the starting/finishing date of a package component distribution. In order to connect a start/end date of the services to a date specified in the search form, select search_form.start_date/search_form.end_date. In case there are other components within the package, you can connect the start/end date of the component to other components's start/end date. In order to add or distract a certain number of days from the specified date, from the drop-down select the required option (e.g. +5 days). In order to set specific dates, click (blue star) (More). The Schedule window appears:

  • In the Schedule window, specify the period and the days of the week during which the package component will be offered for tourists. Click Add and then Close.

  • Number of nights: specify the number of nights for which the accommodation will be rendered. In case you select calculate from the drop-down, the number of nights will be automatically calculated in compliance with the dates specified in the search form. To add or distract a certain number of days from the calculated date, select the required option from the drop-down (e.g. +5). In order to set the fixed number locate mouse pointer into the box in the Filter column, and enter the required number of nights manually.

    • Hotel category: specify in response to which hotel category specified in search form the accommodation will be offered.

8. Specify the pricing method - net price or gross price.
9. Set tags. By using tags you can manage access of certain groups of customers to products and rates. For example, by labeling certain products with the "private" tag you show them only to the customers that are interested in exclusive offers, while the standard offers with the "public" tag are available to all customers. You can create, edit and delete all tags, except for the default "public" tag. There are certain restrictions to the tag names:

  • A tag name should consist of one or several words written in Latin characters.

  • A tag name can include maximum 500 characters.

  • If you use several tags, they should be separated with a comma.

10. Click Save.
